Working with In the Shed Secretarial is no different from working with any other freelancer: you only pay for the work carried out and time spent on your project.  

 

I work on a purely 'ad hoc' basis - with no minimum fees and no contracts.  In addition, I am solely responsible for all of the work carried out.  This means there is a much greater level of continuity compared to outsourcing to a transcription agency.  It also means clearer communication (of deadlines and priorities) but, more importantly, it ensures strict confidentiality at all times.


I normally work on an hourly-rate basis, invoicing at the end of each month.  For longer, fixed-term projects, we can agree payment stages - or a retainer for a set number of hours per month.  Flexibility is the key!

 

However, we will discuss and agree all fees arrangements and disbursements before I start any work - so there will be no nasty surprises!

 

Most of my work is carried out remotely but if your business is within the Surrey/Central London area, I am able to work part-time in your office to do those tasks that must be carried out on-site - the filing, for instance.
